Hello All! Thanks for visiting Ryter’s Block! Here is a little bit of information about me:
In 2007 I began my career as a special education teacher for special needs students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Four years later I transitioned to a new position as a first grade general education teacher, which is where I am today. I love and my students and truly enjoy going to work everyday!
A few years ago, I began the process of obtaining my Masters degree in education. I started off at one university, but recently transferred to Post University to complete my degree. I made this change based on Post’s unique online format, flexible scheduling, and degree options. So far I am loving my experience at Post and find the instructors and staff member to be extremely supportive and helpful. I’ve also really enjoyed getting to know my fellow classmates and learning from them through their insights and feedback.
I selected “Teaching and Learning” as my degree option in hopes of gaining more knowledge and information about the future state of education. I have already learned so much about where education is headed and have found the assignments to be interesting, informative, and relevant to my life and career.
I hope to continue educating and inspiring young children and instilling them with a love of learning for many years to come.
